If you would like a headshot drawing for only $15 like you see above, head on over to Liimiim Haywaas at ko-fi! I’ll be including a link in the reblogs.
I’m willing to do anthro/furry and humans, and your choice of expression! Please feel free to send an ask or DM if you have any questions
idk who needs to hear this but,,,every piece of fandom content you make should be self indulgent. you should be creating because it gives you happiness and nothing less. you aren’t a machine meant to only give to other people. the enjoyment should always come before the validation.
Every year I put up a poll asking small business owners, artists, and crafters to share what they make and where they sell it, so that our fannish (and fandom-adjacent) community can shop “local” for the holiday season, supporting their fellow creators.
If you make things to sell or run a small business where people can shop, fill out the form linked above to tell us all about it!
Above and beyond the usual sorts of things you’d give as gifts, feel free to include services you think people would wish to give as gifts (eg tarot readings), and authors should feel free to link to their book sales pages. There are also ways to indicate that you take commissions, so don’t let the fact that you are commission-only stop you!
Shoppers who want to see the directory can go here to find out who’s selling what, and where.
Both shoppers and creators, please feel free to reblog this to your readerships or tag folks who might benefit.
Sometimes google polls and sheets can be very special, so if there are any access issues let me know. Also if you filled out the form but something needs correcting, feel free to get in touch via my asks or copperbadge@gmail.com and I can go in and fix it for you.
I’ll be reblogging this a couple of times in the next few weeks so both sellers and shoppers have the best chance of seeing it. The results sheet is stable so you can also bookmark that if you know you want to shop but want to wait and see what people are adding.
ME: hold up. you see that? train’s been through here FRIEND: how can you tell ME: tracks. they’re not fresh, maybe 60, 80 years old FRIEND: no chance it’ll come back, then ME: don’t be so sure. That’s well within their lifespan… and they’re highly territorial
Save files need to eat and are only fed when you play them. if you don’t play once a day it starves to death and is deleted
Your inventory starts off sorted by Bogosort. It’s at least three level ups to unlock a new algorithm.
Gain XP by dancing in front of the webcam. How much XP you get is based on how good the poor intern they force to watch everyone thinks it is. He’s not any happier about this then you are.
Fast travel but it happens completely at random
Unskippable cutscenes, easily skippable gameplay
The game promises to “change according to your choices” and what this means is that if you don’t pick the choices the designer wants the game leaks your private data on the dark web
Those fucking monotonous bosses where the only way to beat them is to “defect the attack back at them” or “attack them after they get stuck charging” or something but each time only damages 1/1000th of their fucking endless health so you’re there for half a fucking hour doing the same 20 seconds of gameplay over and over waiting for them to do the one thing that lets you progress the game and either you slip up because you’ve doing it for so fucking long or they just do the unavoidable attacks while indestructible so you die over and over and then you get the same unskippable 30 second cutscene you can repeat from memory now and then boom its back to “run around, turns red, hit, run around, turns red, hit” with no variation or strategy I swear to god is it so hard to make a boss with actual interesting attack patterns even just two modes would be…
All NPCs are clearly using the same voice actor putting on different accents. The credits are “accidentally deleted”
I love it when you can pick up an animator’s quirks.
I’ve read in old interviews with Milt Khal’s fellow animators that he did the swaggle to purposefully show off. Moving the head in 3-d space is an exceptionally hard thing to do but Khal upped the level of difficulty to a place many animators wouldn’t go. Not only are they all doing the swaggle you’ll notice they are all TALKING while they are doing it. This is back in the days where you had to use a timing sheet to pace your animation and a head swaggle doesn’t work if its too slow or too fast so he had to figure out the right speed so it looked natural while the character finishes what they have to say while not interfering with the distinct mouth shapes. Not only did Khal do it without any shifting weight problems or timing issues he would often do it while moving the rest of the body. This isn’t his signature move just because he was good at it.This is his signature move because he was one of the only people skilled enough to DO IT AT ALL.
Milt Khal was a MASTER.
God, I can’t express to you how fucking DELIGHTED I become whenever they Milt Khal Head Swaggle Post graces my dash with its presence again.
